Everyone knows that Miami Beach is the fashion capital of the United States. So a lot of people who come here from other places always want to know what to wear on Miami Beach so they do not appear like total “out-off-towners”.
In the past years Miami Beach has become a melting pot for European and South American communities, bringing the best of both cultures to the table. Miami incorporates Latin beauty with European vision when it comes to fashion. Hundreds and hundreds of top models and model agencies adopted Miami Beach as their home base.

Ok, now let me get straight to the point: Yes – you should try to look your best and wear designer clothes, but it’s not what Miami Beach is about. It’s about not being plain and boring.
You don’t need to have all the latest designer things, although it does help if you are trying to impress someone, you just have to be original. Just don’t over do it, because then you will look like a clown.
So here are tips on how to dress SOBE style:

1. Do your homework: see what other people wearing and take a look at what is sold in the Miami Beach local stores.
2. Try to be creative and original. This is not mid-west or New Jersey where you can wear sweatpants all the time and get away with it.
3. If you can not afford designer clothes, then knock-off will do. Not a lot of people would know the difference anyway.
4. And please, this is for you guys, NO sports jerseys.
